Colca Canyon Full Day Tour from Arequipa
Full-day excursion to the world's deepest canyon — condor watching at Cruz del Cóndor, pre-Inca terraces, colonial towns, hot springs, and a buffet lunch in Chivay.
The Colca Canyon is the deepest in the world and truly an incredible site. This tour is a great escape from the city and gives travelers the opportunity to experience Andean culture. You will be picked up from your hotel between 3:00am and 3:30am and drive north to Chivay where you will eat a simple breakfast. You then head west to the Condor Cross located on the rim of the Colca Canyon, with one hour to enjoy the views and look for condors. You will make your way back towards Chivay making stops at Antawilke (pre-Incan terraces), the colonial town of Maca, and the Yanque hot springs. Upon arriving to Chivay, stop at a local restaurant for a buffet lunch. Return to Arequipa around 5:30pm, with stops at Patapama and the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
